Ben S. Bernanke is a Nobel Prize-winning economist who served as the 14th Chair of the Federal Reserve from 2006 to 2014. He is widely considered a leading authority on monetary policy and financial crises, having steered the U.S. economy through the 2008 financial crisis and the Great Recession.
