David F. Larcker is the James Irvin Miller Professor of Accounting, Emeritus, at the Stanford Graduate School of Business and a leading authority on corporate governance. As director of Stanford’s Corporate Governance Research Initiative, he specializes in executive compensation, board effectiveness, and performance measurement. Larcker has authored influential books, including “The Art and Practice of Corporate Governance,” and previously held prestigious faculty positions at the Wharton School and Kellogg Graduate School of Management.
