Deborah M. Kolb is a leading authority on negotiation, leadership, and gender issues in the workplace. She is the Deloitte Ellen Gabriel Professor for Women in Leadership (Emerita) at Simmons University and co-founder of the Center for Gender in Organizations. Additionally, she serves as co-director of the Negotiations in the Workplace Project at Harvard Law School’s Program on Negotiation. Her research focuses on “the shadow negotiation,” providing practical strategies to help individuals—particularly women—advocate for themselves and achieve career advancement.
