Jamil Zaki is a Professor of Psychology at Stanford University and the Director of the Stanford Social Neuroscience Lab. A leading authority on human connection, his research challenges the notion that empathy is a fixed trait, demonstrating instead that it is a skill that can be strengthened. He has published over 100 peer-reviewed articles and is the author of the books “The War for Kindness” and “Hope for Cynics.”
